Valentine's Day Knitted Scarf

I've recently finished up this Valentine's Day "Red" free form knitted scarf just in time for February gift giving.

I enjoy designing these free form scarves because it gives me the opportunity to use up bits of yarn that are too small to create a whole scarf with.  Don't you just love the little tassels?

I, also, like the unique look that is created.  No two scarves are ever the same.  You'll find it available for sale in my Vintage Cherry Shop on Etsy.com.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look.

Hand Knitted Scarf in Freeform

I've been having fun doing some knitting here lately.  Most of my scarf designs are crocheted but I dug out the knitting needles recently to work on some free form knitted scarves.

For this one of a kind design in shades of aqua blue I've used an assortment of yarn types to create the unique pattern changes in this whimsical scarf.

I've added some tassels to the end of this 72" long scarf for just that extra touch of whimsy.  You'll find it in my store front here.  These scarves are a great way to use up small bits of yarns that would otherwise just linger in a basket of leftovers.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Happy New Year!!

Crochet Flower Brooch

I've recently created a few soft and elegant Irish Rose brooches to add charm to your coat, jacket, scarf, or hat. I hand crocheted them using a beautiful acrylic roving yarn, added some jewel tone glass pearl beads to their center and hand sewed pins backs to the back of each flower. Their both about 3.75 inches in width and only $7 plus shipping in my Etsy.com store front.

Crocheted Aqua Blue Scarf

The top 3 cowl scarf photos are all the same scarf.  Look at all the different ways that this versatile scarf can be worn.  Adding a crocheted Irish Rose brooch adds a splash of color as well.

The 4 photos below are all of one of my Lacy Ruffle Scarf designs.  Here again, you can get different looks depending upon how you wrap it around your neck and accessorize it.

Crocheted Victorian Flower Scarflette
Crocheted Victorian Scarflette Mossy Green

Crocheted Scarflette Peacock Blue Green

These original and beautiful hand crocheted scarflettes wrap around the neck and are an addition to my Scarflette Collection. The fabulous self striping, variegated yarn that I've used is very soft and works so wonderfully in these ruffled one of a kind scarf designs. The ruffled top part of these scarves can be worn up or it can be folded down on to the scarflette base. Photos can be enlarged by double click on them.
