I Love Yarn Day 2016
It's National "I Love Yarn Day"!!! #StitchItFoward #ILoveYarnDay
A day to celebrate and share ones affection for their yarn stash. I for sure have an affection for yarn! On Tuesday of next week I will be visiting my BFF and will teach her how to knit. I can't think of a better way to celebrate and stitch it forward.

Valentine's Day Knitted Scarf
I've recently finished up this Valentine's Day "Red" free form knitted scarf just in time for February gift giving.
I enjoy designing these free form scarves because it gives me the opportunity to use up bits of yarn that are too small to create a whole scarf with. Don't you just love the little tassels?
I, also, like the unique look that is created. No two scarves are ever the same. You'll find it available for sale in my Vintage Cherry Shop on Etsy.com.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look.

Hand Knitted Scarf in Freeform
I've been having fun doing some knitting here lately. Most of my scarf designs are crocheted but I dug out the knitting needles recently to work on some free form knitted scarves.
For this one of a kind design in shades of aqua blue I've used an assortment of yarn types to create the unique pattern changes in this whimsical scarf.
I've added some tassels to the end of this 72" long scarf for just that extra touch of whimsy. You'll find it in my store front here. These scarves are a great way to use up small bits of yarns that would otherwise just linger in a basket of leftovers.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Happy New Year!!
